Desizing

Alpha amylase-based products for desizing
in a wide range of temperatures and conditions

Desizing is a very important phase of the apparel process. Size coatings are applied to the fabric in order to reduce fractional properties, decrease yarn breakage in loom and improve weaving productivity during the manufacturing process.

However, sizing materials can prevent finishing and dyeing efficacy. The purpose of desizing is to remove the size from warp yarn of the woven fabric, a fundamental step before any further treatment of the garment.
